In 2026, one of my main goals is to prioritize my health. I am starting a new category you will see on my blog and Instagram. It is called “Health.” This is where I will post articles discussing my honest opinion. I will talk about health products and regimens I am using or doing. Whether they are trending or some unknown Chinese medicine method, I will share it with you. I am not aiming for a certain body type. I have decided to focus on it more this year because I want to give myself more self-love. I want to thank my body for all that it does for me every day.
OK, so, my most recent purchase was the viral vibration exercise plates. They have been on my feed for at least a year. This year, I decided to try one myself. I purchased two of them (by accident), but they are slightly different styles and slightly different price points. I have been using them for a few weeks now and I am going to share what I’ve learned.
First, if your feed isn’t full of them already, a vibration exercise plate is a very low-impact fitness tool. It uses controlled vibrations to activate muscles. (Full list of health benefits below)
Here’s what happened when I tried one:
- Immediately, I mean right after my first time on (which was for about 10 minutes) my body felt less tight. Joints, muscles, I just felt like I could get into a deeper stretch with less tightness.
- I noticed more lymphatic drain in my body. After the first week, I noticed my face wasn’t as puffy and now I can notice how much it really supports the lymphatic system all over your body. (More details about lymph’s below)
- I felt good. I genuinely enjoy the time I spend on my vibration plate. I have gotten into the habit of standing on it in the morning while getting ready for 10 minutes and using it before bed in a few different positions with my red-light therapy. And simply, I just feel good after using it. That to me is worth it.
The best way to be healthy is to find things or create habits that you enjoy doing. To me, a vibration plate has real health benefits. It’s something I would never want to cut out of my daily routine. I look forward to it and make time for it every night before bed. That will make the difference between a successful health journey and an inconsistent one.
One more important aspect I’d like to mention is the price point. Yes, some vibration exercise plates you see online are steep. But, I have purchased two both of which I use everyday. They are just set up in different rooms. But I prefer the cheaper one. The more expensive one does have a Bluetooth option. Ok, let’s get into the real science-backed benefits of vibration exercise plates:
- Increased Muscle Activation
Whole-body vibration stimulates rapid, involuntary muscle contractions. This engagement can support strength, stability, and neuromuscular coordination. When you start to do your own research on them you will see a lot of studies suggest and advertise that 10 minutes on a vibration plate is equivalent to 30-60 minutes of traditional exercise. - Enhanced Balance and Stability
Whole-body vibration has been shown to improve proprioception and balance. Better balance reduces fall risk and supports functional movement, especially as we age. - Increased Blood Circulation
Yes, yes, and yes! You can feel this immediately. Vibration causes muscles to repeatedly contract and relax which stimulates blood flow. Improved circulation supports oxygen delivery to tissues – which is huge. Does that mean vibration plates can help people with Anemia?! I’m not a doctor but it’s worth looking into and asking a professional! - Reduced Muscle Soreness and Improved Recovery
Research indicates vibration therapy may reduce delayed onset muscle soreness and improve perceived recovery after exercise. - Stimulation of the Lymphatic System
The lymphatic system relies on muscle movement and external forces – it doesn’t have a pump like the heart – to circulate lymph fluid. Efficient lymphatic circulation supports waste removal, immune function, and fluid balance. AKA no more puffy face, double chin or puffy underarms.
Vibration plates support my lymphatic system. They make me feel good. Their low impact is another reason to use them.
While vibration exercise plates are supported by scientific research, results vary based on frequency, intensity, and individual health status. They are most effective when used consistently and alongside regular movement.
A year ago, I didn’t think twice about them and scrolled past when I saw them on my feed. Fast forward to now, I highly recommend incorporating it into your health and wellness journey.
