Ah, consistency. One of the greatest, most underrated superpowers. A skill you absolutely must master if you want to transform yourself and your life. I say this from my life experience. I personally always had an issue with consistency. It wasn’t a developed skill for me, nor did I understand the true benefits it has on a person’s life. Although I am an ambitious and hard-working person, I could never make it past the 2–3-month stage of my goals. Leaving me falling off track, giving up on myself and having to start over from scratch time and time again. When I turned 29 years old, it finally hit me that I need to lock in. This is my last year of my 20’s and I want to have a good- nay, an amazing decade in my 30’s. I wrote down all my goals, and how often I wanted to do them to become the version of myself I wanted to be. I thought of new ways to keep track of this, a fun way that I could analyze my own data. So, I created a simple program. I am 25 weeks in. I successfully passed the 2–3-month stage and can confidently say this is the most consistent I have ever been in my life. What they don’t tell you about consistency is that it honestly becomes so easy the longer you go. The habits become integrated into who you are, and you do them almost without thinking. Starting and starting over are the hardest parts. But what’s really changed my life about this program is the amount of self-trust I am building within myself. I never had that before. It’s a new feeling for me and honestly it makes me love myself more. I know, regardless of how I am feeling that I am going to show up for myself and that I have control to make myself feel better. I’ve taken better care of myself, I’ve shown up in friendships better and in my business better. I am a consistent person now. And I’m really proud to say I developed that skill and it’s only getting better from here.
